Sometimes, to keep things safe, we need to store your chat messages—but only for a short time. If a chat gets reported for abuse or inappropriate content, our system may review those messages before they are permanently deleted.
If no one reports anything? The messages vanish automatically. No backups. No archives. No spying.

- ❌ Your IP address or location
- ❌ Any account information (we don’t use accounts!)
- ❌ Device IDs or digital fingerprints
- ❌ Chat history beyond the short review window

Why Temporary Storage Exists
Abuse happens, even in anonymous spaces. And when it does, we need a way to detect and handle it responsibly. That’s where short-term message storage comes in:

- ✅ Allows fair moderation if someone’s being harassed
- ✅ Keeps the space respectful for everyone
But we don’t hang on to anything longer than necessary—and we never link it to an identity.
